Candarman "Bedil", Nargisistān

[Preliminary Entry] The Nargisistān is a retelling in poetry and prose of the Rāmāyaṇa epic completed in 1105/1693-1694. The work was lithographed by Nawal Kišor in 1875 and ascribed to Bedil. The text, however, names its author as Candarman (Mujtabai 1976, p. 138). Candarman says that a friend of his named Sheetaldas recited the story (Zaidi 1994, p. 42).
