Ġulām ‘Alī, Timtāl-i ašyā’ wa azhār al-adwiya

[Preliminary Entry] The Timtāl-i ašyā’ wa azhār al-adwiya was written in 1286/1869-70 by Ḥakīm Ġulām ‘Alī at the order of the maharaja of Kashmir Ranbīr Singh (r. 1857-1885). The work describes plants, birds and animals of Kashmir. The only known copy of the text has been richly illustrated with paintings.
